‘[in][af]finite (first development)’: a participatory performance held at the COFA Honours Half-Way Exhibition at the Kudos Gallery in 2013.
Two grey timber structures enclosed by malleable clear vinyl surfaces house two identically dressed performers. A projection on the back wall streams live footage from the wireless camera headpiece worn by a participating audience member. Performers plot grey paint against the surface of the plastic in accordance with the visual and tactile whereabouts of the participant. The slowly accumulating paint obstructs the visibility of the performers, engulfing them completely until touch becomes the only remaining interaction.
